The Toolkit
The Rat-tastic Challenge is a quick, hands-on design activity that introduces students to core design-thinking skills through playful teamwork. In small groups, participants tackle a fictional “rat problem,” brainstorming, prototyping, and iterating on creative solutions while learning the value of collaboration, empathy, and learning by doing.
MODULE 2 : Bright Spots and Challenges in Modern Schooling
Module 2 prompts students to articulate their own experiences in school and learn about those of their peers. Individually and in small groups, students generate and build a shared understanding of bright spots and shared challenges in schooling today, laying the groundwork for collaborative, student-led problem solving and design.
